I must confess that my first love will always be performing on the stage. Since my first role of Captain von Trapp in the All Children’s Theatre production of “The Sound of Music” (playing opposite a Maria who was at least a foot taller and several grades older) to the roles you see me playing in these pictures, I have come to realize that at no other time am I more “me” than when I am in front of an audience. |

I found Joey Clark to be an engaging, clever, hard-working actor whose own gifts in music add significantly to a cast when working on a musical. Joey was a joy with whom to work from beginning to end. Margaret Davis, director, Forum Theatre
Metuchen, NJ
Sharing the stage with Joey makes theatre worth all the hard work. Kevin Scott Collins Joey Clark is one of the most dedicated theatre artists I have ever met. His love of the art form translates to a performance full of light, joy and passion. Deanna Pacelli I have worked with Joey as a Director. His talents, graciousness, humor and contagious enthusiasm are a joy to have in any room. This guy is a big deal just waiting to happen. A truly amazing musical director, and an actor / singer of rare charm. Everytime I'm lucky enough to have Joey involved in a project I hear the kind of Love Letter reviews of his work that he could have written himself. Any Theatre Company or production is extremely fortunate to have Mr Clark on board. Bryant Lanier, Artistic Director “The Play’s The Thing” |
