I, being a performer myself, understand what it’s like to want a voice lesson amidst the frustrations of not having enough money to buy my groceries at Whole Foods, let alone pay for a private one-hour coaching. So, I decided (with prompting from several of my students) to begin offering group classes as a cheap but valuable alternative. |

I had a hard time deciding what to call these classes. First of all, I don’t like the word “class” because that just reminds me of high school where the teacher has their “place” in the classroom and the students have theirs…and they don’t intersect. Secondly, I don’t like the label of “teacher” and “student” I’d much rather be a “director” to an “actor” than a “teacher” to a “student”. |

Classes are usually held near Columbus Circle at Shelter or Eighth Avenue Studios 939 8th Avenue (between 55th and 56th Streets)
